We have created this statement to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy. We do not collect personally identifiable information about you when you visit our site, unless you choose to provide such information to us. Providing such information is strictly voluntary. This policy is your guide to how we will handle information we learn about you from your visit to our Web site.

What Happens When You Register With The JCG Foundation? 

All information provided to the Foundation is treated in compliance with the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2005. Your name, contact details and personal details are collected and processed for the purposes of JCG Foundation database of past and present Alumni members.

In order to accept your application to become a member of the JCG Foundation your eligibility will need to be confirmed. To do this we will require confirmation of your attendance at JCG and by completing this registration and giving us the year you left JCG you provide consent for the Foundation to carry out such checks with the College direct.

Once you have registered, we will use your information to keep you updated with news, events and fundraising ideas. The Foundation will not use your information for any other purpose.

Other JCG Alumni will be able to contact you via the database and you will be able to find and contact other members of the JCG Alumni.  This database is not to be used for commercial or other unrelated purposes but purely as a directory of JCG Alumni both past and present.

You are fully in control of your privacy settings when you register to manage how and if you wish to be contacted via the JCG Foundation database.  Please familiarise yourself with the privacy settings when you register.  We will not disclose to any other third party without your consent or unless we are legally required to do so. 

The Foundation may publicise some of its events and successes which may involve providing local media and internal communication vehicles with names and/or images of our members.  Please contact Leanda Guy at if you have any concerns or queries in this respect.

Providing such information is strictly voluntary and security levels are governed by you. Except as might be required by law, we do not share any information we receive with any outside parties unless you provide consent for us to do so.

7.    Kids and Privacy

For children who visit our site, (Under 16) special rules apply. We do not request personal information about children, such as first and last name or street address and city. When kids send email to us, their online contact information (email address) is not used to re-contact them and is not maintained in retrievable form.
